Tuition & Financial Aid
Investing in Your Child's Future
We see North Catholic as an investment in your child's future, and we are committed to making Catholic education available to as many families as possible. The Diocese and North Catholic’s administration work diligently to keep costs in line, while constantly seeking sources for scholarship monies for students.
Our administration, faculty, and staff work diligently to provide an exceptional educational experience to all our students. We seek to empower our students to be faith-filled leaders within their communities.
At North Catholic, we have proudly graduated over 15,500 men and women who are now leaders in our region and nation.
Tuition Rates for 2024-2025
$15,850 Catholic students (Registered members of a Parish in the Diocese of Pittsburgh)
$16,850 Non-Catholic students
$18,075 International Student
These amounts include transportation, technology, and school-sponsored athletics.
Financial Aid
We understand that an investment in a Catholic education can be a sacrifice for many.
Through our fundraising efforts, alumni support, and our community sponsors, we aim to support our students, making North Catholic affordable and attainable. We are able to provide an average aid award of $5,500 to our qualifying families.
In order to be considered for need-based aid, families must complete the FACTS application. FACTS management is an independent third party service contracted by North Catholic to process applications. Financial aid decisions are confidential and made by North Catholic High School. Prospective families are notified in late January/early February when the application is open for the upcoming school year.
FACTS Application
At North Catholic, we are committed to making Catholic education affordable and attainable for our families. We encourage families to fill out the FACTS application to determine eligibility for need-based assistance.
Please note: There is $25 application fee to fill out the FACTS application.
Our financial aid committee will begin reviewing completed FACTS applications in early March and the first round of aid award notifications will be sent by March 15th with more rounds to follow as applications are reviewed.
Returning Families: FACTS applications must be submitted by March 31st. Tax documents can be uploaded after the application is submitted, but you will not receive an aid award until all documents are received and verified by FACTS.
If you have any questions regarding the aid opportunities at North Catholic, or if you have questions regarding the FACTS application, please feel free to reach out to Keleigh Sopher, business manager at NCHS.
If you have any questions regarding the admissions process, please contact our Director of Admissions, Megan O'Hara
For families of incoming 9th grade students in 2025-2026, the diocese is offering an early tuition aid application option through our tuition aid vendor FACTS Management. The normal application deadline is in mid-March 2025. However, families with incoming 9th grade students may begin applying for financial aid beginning on November 25, 2024. You will be asked to provide 2023 income information so that the tuition aid vendor, FACTS Management, can provide North Catholic with a preliminary need analysis. This analysis will enable North Catholic to provide an initial estimate of the amount of aid available assuming family income does not substantially change from 2023 to 2024. Families will later be required to provide 2024 income documentation before the normal mid-March application date. Once the 2024 income data is provided and processed, final 25-26 aid awards will be confirmed. Aid awards for younger siblings attending Catholic elementary schools will be determined in late May or early June as is done currently. |
